Apples belong to very low energy foods category. 100 grams of apple slices provide us about 52 Calories (217.5 kJ) of energy.

One medium sized apple weighing 200 grams provides 104 Calories (435 kJ). An extra-large apple weighing 295 grams provides 153 Calories (640 kJ). 1 slice of apple weighing 25 grams provides as little as 13 Calories (54.4 kJ) of energy.
