Pet dogs and cats being overweight or obese has become a global phenomenon in recent times. Studies report different numbers but majority of them say that more than 50% of pet dogs and cats are either overweight or obese.
Pets that are overweight generally have shorter lifespans. Similar to humans pets that are overweight for a long period of time have a significantly higher risk to several diseases such as diabetes, osteoarthritis, cardiovascular disease, and even some cancers.
We will be creating a series of videos addressing obesity in pets and simple methods to overcome this problem.
