Vitamins, minerals & Health benefits

Let us take one regular slice or one individual pie weighing 150 grams as a reference for this video.

Apple pie is a very good source of thiamin and a moderately good source of other B vitamins such as niacin, folate, riboflavin and vitamin B6.

It also contains vitamin K, vitamins A & E in modest amounts.

Apple pie is a source of few essential minerals such as iron, copper and selenium. Beware of sodium present in this food product. If any of your family members have hypertension try to add less salt while making apple pie.
