Coconut milk is actually rich in fat content. So naturally people associate it with high cholesterol. But as per the United States Department of Agriculture data coconut milk does not contain any cholesterol at all.
But coconut milk contains quite a lot of saturated fat. As per the American Heart Association consumption of excess saturated fat can raise LDL Cholesterol (i.e., bad cholesterol) in your blood. High LDL Cholesterol in blood can increase the risk of stroke and heart disease. Hence, I would suggest you not to consume more than 50 grams of coconut milk a day.
