Broccoli is a green vegetable that is closely related to cabbage, cauliflower and kale. Broccoli is eaten in raw and cooked forms.
In general, like most other vegetables broccoli is also a poor source of protein as it constitutes just 2.6% of the total weight of this vegetable. 1 cup of raw broccoli weighing 76 grams provides us about 2 grams of protein.
